SUPER TYPHOON at Philippine
Published by Agnes Tan @ Singapore under Travel on Thursday, October 15, 2009
Sometimes really got to see to believe. It is hard to imagine such things can happen, and you can never see these on the TV news. We should really count ourself lucky.
On the other way, unless you experienced that, it would be difficult for you to appreaciate what you are having now.

I have friends and family in the Manila / Pasig / Antipolo areas, so I was pretty concerned during this Typhoon. I made some posts about it on my blog too at the time.
Luckily, my family was ok, though some of them had to stay on their roof for two days.
What really shocks me is that the President's son, who is a Senator, was in a store buying booze during the typhoon, instead of working on ways to assist his constituents.
The Philippines are beautiful and the country is full of talented, hard working people, but the government ruins everything for them.
Ain't we lucky to be staying here without Natural disaster?
Yup, but what I worry about is that Singapore just hasn't had one 'yet'. There's a lot of weirdness going on in Asia right now, with all those earthquakes, typhoons and tsunamis...
