By right, students should not bring handphone to school, at least during my days, when the handphone is so expensive and not so popular. But bring handphone, not for camwhore or making cheat in the exam of course. We know the outcome of camwhore from the Tammy case etc.... but here is a good reason to bring hp....

I think the level of exposure that people face in public now, and in public settings like schools, should help to deter people from taking actions that could land them in trouble with things like video evidence.
With the number of CCTV cameras recording around cities and the number of people taking photos or video on various devices almost nonstop, plus the popularity of social media to spread shots or footage like wildfire...
Ya, as if Singapore's laws weren't enough to start with, I really mind my manners in public!
