The wedding lunch that you never see it before

Wedding dinner or lunch we have attended many. But how about an outdoor one? And not only outdoor, but in a raining day? How about outdoor in a raining day plus home cooking? Here you go. There is this outdoor wedding lunch, in a raining day. And I believe is a "small" villages, so everyone just come and help with cooking, so is homemade cooking!
What is really funny is everyone is holding an umbrella and sit around a table. Even you can cover yourself from rain, but I don't think you manage to cover the food with rain right? Preparing the food for so many tables is not an easy task, I guess here got at least over 1000 guests. Really challenge to prepare all these food in an outdoor environment.
I do know that some traditional villages in Hong Kong, they still have such lunch during festival, and some of them, only allows guy to eat only. While the ladies only prepare the food.

Did I read wrongly? Some festivals only allow men to eat and ladies are there to prepare only? Gosh, I hate that.
